Cortland took the revolutionary high floating tip section and proven jacket formulation of the award winning 555 Dyna-Tip and married it to the new easy loading, long casting “Rocket 2 taper”. The Precision Dyna-Tip loads today’s faster rods for peak performance at any distance, short, medium, and across the river. The Rocket 2 taper is the first real advance in fly line tapers in a generation. By concentrating the weight towards the front of the line, and gradually tapering to the running line section, the Precision Dyna-Tip loads quickly for accurate close casts. When you need to reach out, the forward taper acts like a shooting head for maximum distance with minimum effort. Mint Green color allows you track your cast.
